Welcome! :)

Hi, I'm a third year at Los Medanos College. I'm living with my parents (ah! haha) for the next two years then I am back to a CA four year (probably a UC) to get my bachelor's degree in International Relations. :)

Hi, I am now a second year at Santa Rosa JC. Still technically undeclared and living in an apartment with my sister and a lady named Anne! Life continues! I will try to post! :)

Hi, I am a Freshman (1st year) at Southern Oregon University. I am undeclared but that doesn't mean unprepared! I will try to share stories, thoughts, photos, videos and such as often as possible, I hope you enjoy! :)

Observations from 5 minutes in a bathroom

Minute one: I stand in the door way waiting for one of three stalls to be freed up. Two girls are leaving and one, who has a great figure says to her friend, "I think I'm going to start dieting again."
Minute two: A beautiful girl is staring at herself as she waits in the mirror. Adjusting her shorts and than her shirt and than her hair. Fiddling and fixing.
Minute three: A girl comes out of the bathroom and begins checking her skin, shifting her face to view invisible blemishes and flaws.
Minute four: I think, It is scary how much women fixate on their appearances. They can't accept themselves when they are perfectly fine and attractive. What is wrong with our society? There is nothing wrong in taking care of yourself but to obsess with a perfectly healthy and attractive self is silly and such a waste of time...
Minute five: I'm going to post this to my blog. :p

  1. Very observant Brittnie. Our society has placed too high a value on looks and weight. When that is all some people have to see in others there is definitly something wrong. I know some people who will overlook the great qualities of a person and just focus on the outword appearance. Sad

  2. very good observation! sad to say , a person can place a high value on the outside appearance or being 'cool' and yet never look inside a person, their character..
